Crawler Innovations is happy to bring another new product to the RC Crawling market. The 6 Bolt Performance Wheel is a glue on wheel with a 2.2" bead size, is 1.50" wide, and is designed to be used with Vanquish Products SLW hubs. The Axial Trail Ready plastic hubs also fit these wheels for the weight conscious comp crawler. 12 Stainless Steel Button Head hardware included. The is the lightest weight 2.2 competition wheel / rim on the market. These wheels really shine in the U4RC genre of rc racing. The plastic combined with the aluminum hex create a basher and racer friendly combo. The plastic wheel will flex on hard impacts while the aluminum hex prevents stripping.
The 1.50" width is the factory width or standard for 2.2" rim width. The wider rim allows for the tire to be mounted as it was cast/made, not stretching or forcing the tire into a different profile. Combined with the proper foam set up, these wider wheels provide consistent control and high performance. In general, wider Vanquish Products SLW hubs are used with this rim width, such as the 600, 725, or 850 SLW hub. Since the face of the 6 bolt wheel is nearly flush, there is more back spacing on the rim. The 6 bolt was designed with the nearly flush face to prevent obstacles from catching a wide front rim lip on course.

These inserts feature a Competition Cut, closed cell inner foam, with a Firm conventional or open cell density outer foam. The closed cell inner foam is super dense, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is extremely durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof.
The "Comp Cut" inner has three grooves machined into the area where the outer and inner meet. The machined grooves allow for the outer foam to collapse into them resulting in a much more responsive tire. The inner foam width is 1.75" and is machined for 1" width wheels, but they will fit any size wheel/rim from .7" to 1.35".

TThe future of 2.2" Rock Crawling Tire Performance has arrived with Pro-Line's Hyrax LP Tire! At 5.25" tall, the Hyrax LP is shorter in stature than the traditional 2.2" Hyrax, but larger than the 1.9" Hyrax XL tire. This makes it ideal for Class 3 competition crawling, where you need the greater ground clearance of a 2.2" tire, but still maintaining great sidewall stability!
The legendary Hyrax was designed for maximum grip on the toughest terrain. It features an aggressive and open tread pattern with each tread block containing multiple Sipes for incredible tread flex. The highly detailed connected tread on the sidewall of the Hyrax extends out for unmatched side-hilling performance.
